Aviva to be lead sponsor of Grand Tour
2nd April 2012 | by York Science and Innovation Grand TourAs part of its growing contribution to York’s economy and community Aviva, the UK’s largest insurer, is sponsoring the York Science and Innovation Grand Tour 2012, one of the significant events of the York 800 celebrations.
This inspirational exhibition of captivating images and fascinating stories will showcase the City of York’s achievements in science and innovation and will be displayed in prime locations around the city during June, July and August. With over 60 exhibits now agreed and in production, the York Science and Innovation Grand Tour is on target to be a guaranteed success.
Aviva’s UK Life Marketing Director, Phil Willcock explains, “York has a fascinating heritage. Aviva is proud to be supporting this celebration of the city’s amazing strength and reputation in science, technology and innovation.”
